Alleging poor evaluation, MBA first semester students, BSc students and BHMS students staged a protest

INDORE: Alleging poor evaluation, MBA first semester students, BSc students and BHMS students staged a protest at administrative campus of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) on Monday. Of late, the varsity administration received several complaints related to discrepancies in results. MBA students alleged that only 50% students passed in the examination. Students demanded revaluation of results and the varsity officials asked them to fill review forms. The varsity assured students that those failing in the examination by a couple of marks, will pass, if there is any error in results. State vice-president, NSUI, Javed Khan said, "Result related problems have become a routine affair at DAVV. Almost everyday, students turn up at the university complaining about poor results. At one of the private colleges, only six candidates have passed out of total 86 in BSc course." NSUI activists stage demo at MPPSC office: Observing 'Unemployment Day' as a mark of protest, National Students Union of India (NSUI) activists staged a demonstration at Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) office on Monday. Nearly a dozen activists alleged that PSC spoiled career of talented youths. "MPPSC is mired in controversies due to paper leak and other cases. To register their protest, youths will open tea stalls and serve it on trays," said Khan. (Source: The Times of India)
